Life as we know it

Things aren’t always what they appear. People are animalistic. Attitude is everything, however, gaining an actual attitude of success may take numerous unpleasant events. Perspective is not the same as perception. People, me included, deserve the benefit of the doubt.
Ok, things are not always what they appear. This also reminds me of the writing on the driver-side mirror of a vehicle, “Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.” So I have a mirror to check if the lane is clear to move, but the object is closer than it appears? How much closer? Is it actually the size that I see when I look at it or should there also be a warning sign that says, “Objects are bigger than they appear too”….(insert prophylactic joke).
The real point I have here is this; headlines are headlines, not the whole story. There is a history behind most stories that if we want to live life taking everything at face value, be prepared to be disappointed to find out that things are different than they appear. In my “humble” opinion, don’t fall for headlines, look for the back story and approach life with an open mind.
